Farewell Halloween, Until Next Time

This year, Halloween came and went fast. As usual, the fiancee and I attended my good friends Amber and Bob's amazing annual Halloween bash. So what did the oldie film nerd dress up as for Halloweenie?

Baby Jane Hudson of course. A few people didn't recognize me with a blonde wig, one person thought I was Pollyanna, and several people started singing, "I'm writing a letter to Daddy..."
Overall I must say I was pretty jazzed about my efforts.

Did anyone else dress up as an oldie?

Great costume Emily. Sadly no I did not dress up. Maybe next year. Glad you had a good time though. And thanks for sharing it thru your blog.

Oh gosh, Emily, I ADORE that costume!! I LOVE that movie so much. And what a brilliant idea to dress up as Baby Jane for Halloween! ;)

I was Audrey Hepburn in the stereotypical Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's way - black dress, "diamonds", hair in an updo, etc. Though I still think only a few people really got who I was!

Now that you mention it, I can't believe that I haven't dressed up in something Classic Hollywoodish before for Halloween. I'll have to do something about that next year. I love your costume. It's funny how it's a perfect Baby Jane getup, but it also reminds me of Courtney Love in the 90s. Or Kat from the band Babes in Toyland!
