Douglas Fairbanks, New York City, 1918. Rallying war bonds for WWI with nothing more than a megaphone. Mary Pickford, Charlie Chaplin and Doug sold more war bonds than anyone else ever. And you thought Brad and Angie brought the big crowds...

BACK WHEN PEOPLE BELIEVED IN AMERICA AND LOVED THIS PLACE....THESE DAYS FOLKS CANT DO ANYTHING BUT TALK ABOUT HOW AMERICA CANT DO ANYTHING BETTER THIS COUNTRY OR THAT COUNTRY..WHETHER IT BE FASHION OR CARS. WE USED TO HAVE A STRONG AND POSITIVE PRIDE. WE TOOK THE WORLD BY STORM AND ONLY BEEN HERE JUST OVER 200 YEARS! OUR PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF NOT LOVING THEIR COUNTRY MORE.

IT IS VERY ADMIRAL THAT PEOPLE BOUGHT THOSE BONDS TO HELP SUPPORT US. WE ARE A NATION THAT HAS TO UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS NOT DIVISION.
